Four games, two routes to a free version

Pickaxe slot demos: where to play for free

Mine Slot and Mine Slot 2 have demos opened by the developer itself, and both launch further down this page with no account and no money. Mine Drop and Mine Drop 2 have a free mode as well, but it lives inside Stake, because Paperclip Gaming hands its games to nobody else.

InOut Games demos, right here

The game loads only after you press the button. Until then this page contacts no outside server.

Mine Drop and Mine Drop 2: a demo exists, on Stake only

Paperclip Gaming runs on the Stake Engine and releases games for that operator exclusively. There is simply no free demo link the studio would let a third-party site embed.

Inside Stake the free mode is available: the game page carries a switch between demo and real play next to the window. The mechanics are the same and the balance is play money.

Both are worth a look even without launching. Mine Drop matters as the original of the whole format, Mine Drop 2 for its 50,000x ceiling and eight block types against six in the others.

Falling Pickaxe: a demo at the developer and inside Stake

The fifth game of the format keeps an open demo on the Pixmove site with no account, and the same build runs inside Stake. Embedding it here fails for the same reason as the rest: the studio hands out no free link for third-party sites.

Bring patience, because the build is heavy and takes minutes to reach the screen. What you watch is different too: not columns and chests but the durability counter above the pickaxe. Details in the Falling Pickaxe review.

What to watch so the demo is not wasted

  1. Count the hits in one column

Add up the durability of the pickaxes that landed there and compare it with the blocks. Dirt costs one hit, stone two, ore four. It becomes obvious why some columns clear and others stall halfway.

  2. Wait until a chest opens

Until then a round is worth almost nothing, since stone pays 0.10x. The chest multipliers from 2x to 100x are the entire point of the game.

  3. Buy the bonus at least once

Block Bonus costs 100x the bet. In a demo that costs nothing, and it shows immediately that four spins over a mine that never refills are not four ordinary spins.

  4. Run the two games back to back

Launch Mine Slot, then Mine Slot 2, and take both to the bonus. There is exactly one difference, and a couple of minutes in the demo make it visible.

Common questions about the demos

Is the demo different from real play

The mechanics are identical: same blocks, same durability, same chests. Only the balance differs, since it is play money and cannot be withdrawn. The developer demo build sets its own bet limits, from 0.12 USD to 100 USD.

Why is there no standalone Mine Drop demo

Paperclip Gaming does not release games beyond Stake, so the free mode lives there too. The game page carries a switch between demo and real play next to the window.

Do I need to install anything

No. Both games are built in JS and HTML5 and open in a phone or desktop browser. There is nothing to download, and any offer to download Mine Drop has nothing to do with the game itself.

How many spins are enough to understand the game

Ten to fifteen. The first few show how pickaxes fall into columns, after which the main point becomes obvious: without an open chest a round is worth almost nothing.

A demo does not prepare you for real play. It shows the mechanics, not how a bankroll behaves. On limits and breaks.
